Daytrip Southern Bavaria Pre-alpine River

Together, we fish in an approximately 15-meter wide river in beautiful southern Bavaria. Expected catches are hard-fighting rainbow trout und brown trout ranging in size from 40cm to 60cm and graylings around 35cm. The river is consistently easy to wade through and has numerous gravel banks and beautiful runs for dreamlike fishing.
On one such gravel bank, we will enjoy our lunch cooked by the water and round it off with a final cup of coffee.
Here is the daily schedule:
- Arrival at the water around 7:30 AM (depending on the season)
- Fishing together until around 13:00 PM Lunch with a large steak from the cast iron pan, rustic sauce, and organic bread.
- Alternatively, there's also freshly caught fish.
- Fishing together until around 7:00 PM

Daytrip Grayling Paradise

This river offers a spectacular view and an impressive amount of water, but if you know where to look, there are beautiful runs and fantastic, easily wadable gravel banks.
Large numbers of grayling between 40cm and 50cm often inhabit the fast, gravelly runs. Large, fight-ready rainbow trout are also common.
Here is the daily schedule:
- Arrival at the water around 7:00 AM (depending on the season)
- Fishing together until around 1:00 PM Lunch as desired, made in a rustic iron pan. Freshly caught fish is also an option.

Gin clear, turquoise-green water, deep pools and dreamlike runs offer a fishing experience of a special kind.
Here, everything is possible! I have personally caught rainbow trout up to 60cm and grayling up to 55cm - a truly special experience. A varied river that is suitable for both beginners and advanced anglers.
In some stretches of the river, fantastic sight fishing is possible, a special thrill.

Alpine Flyfishing Austria

This trip is all about relaxation!
We will fish together in a beautiful piece of earth! Nestled amongst mountains, a crystal-clear mountain stream winds its way through a high-moor landscape.
The water is varied and the bank is easily accessible and reachable for everyone.
The main fish is the brooktrout. These come in sizes of 20cm to 30cm in large numbers. Dry fly fishing for brookies is quite exciting.
They seem to shoot uncontrollably from the bottom of the water to the water surface for the fly - a spectacle!
Here is the schedule for the day of arrival (for arrivals by 2pm):
- Fishing together until 6 pm and welcome beer at the mountain stream
- Cosy get-together and dinner at the inn
This is the daily schedule for Day 1:
- Casual breakfast at the inn
- Arrival at the water around 9:30 am
- Fishing together until about 1 pm
- Lunch as desired directly by the mountain stream.
- Fishing together until about 6 pm
- Dinner together at the inn
This is the daily schedule for Day 2:
- At 6:30 a shuttle takes us up to nearly 1400m sea level to a crystal clear mountain lake with an idyllic mountain stream
- Fishing together until about 9:00 am
- Rustic breakfast by the water with omelette, cheese, mushrooms, bacon, and herbs.
- Fishing together until about 1 pm
- Lunch with rustic cheese-sausages, hot mustard, sour pickles and pastries.
- Fishing together until about 5:30 pm
- Approximately 1.5 hour descent back to the valley
- Dinner together at the inn

- Casual breakfast at the inn
- Arrival at the water around 9:30 am

This river is a true jewel of Mother Nature. Quick rippling stretches, excellent runs, and deep pools characterize this beautiful water. Even though the river carves through deep, overhanging gorges, it is consistently easy to wade through and manageable even for inexperienced flyfishermen.
Wild browntrout are plentiful, ranging in size from 25cm to 40cm.
On secluded gravel banks in the middle of a dreamlike nature, we enjoy snacks, lunch, or even savor a freshly caught trout fried in butter.
This trip is a once-in-a-lifetime event!
